Dear fellow boomerang lovers,

It has been almost a year that I was elected the new IFBA President in Perth / Australia. I was honored to be the successor of Maurizio Saba – a perfect gentleman of the Sport.

Ever since that day, the new Board of Directors and I have been in contact with the IFBA member nations as well as potential future members. We are working on spreading basic information about boomerangs to new, interested parties as well as we are working on synchronizing and improving our event rules and the way our associations are run.

During the last European Boomerang Championship 2013 in Copenhagen, august 3th 2013, a meeting was held to receive the proposal to host the next EBC 2015 in Palma de Mallorca.
The proposal was presented by Tony Enev and was unanimous accepted. The following people attended at the meeting: Ola Walberg(SE), Manuel Schuetz(CH), Sean Slade(UK), Kari Koronen(SF), Lars Overzee(NL), Jan Müller-Alstrup(DK), Michel Appriou(FR), Maurizio Saba(IT), Tony Enev(ES), Matthias Giesenschlag(DE), Steve Kavanaugh(US). As soon as possible the date will be fixed.
